This 30-day summer challenge is all about trying something new every day and making this summer unforgettable.

Hey there, plums! Hope you are feeling fine and healthy.
Summer is almost here and I have been making plans all around.
Some of them won’t even see the light of the day (lol), but most of them are pretty solid (hopefully).
But this year, besides checklists and doing endless planning, I also wanted to do something exciting with you guys and thought of doing a fun challenge.
This is going to be a 30-day summer challenge in which you have to tick off a summer task set by me every day for a month.

This isn’t just another bucket list, mind you. Nope.
This is a challenge—30 days of intentional, joy-filled activities that will make you fall in love with summer all over again.
This is going to be so so good for your summer spirit, I promise. Sunshine, adventure, and happiness are guaranteed.
Let’s get going!
30-Day Summer Challenge
Day 1: Watch the sunrise
Kick off your challenge by waking up early and catching the sunrise.
Bring coffee with you and sip slowly as you watch the world wake up.
Day 2: Make a summer playlist
Put together a playlist filled with songs that scream summer vibes, like road trip anthems, beachy tunes, and feel-good hits.
Music makes everything better and prettier!
Day 3: Have a picnic
Pack up some sandwiches, fresh fruits, and some juice boxes, and head to the park for a warm picnic.
You can also do this in your backyard. Bring a book and a speaker with you to listen to soft music.

Day 4: Try a new ice Cream flavor
Who doesn’t love ice cream on a hot summer day?
But on day 4 of this summer challenge, you’re going to step out of your usual vanilla chocolate comfort zone and try something fun and unexpected.
Mango chili? Lavender honey? Blackcurrant chocolate?
I mean, why not? Trying new things is what summer is all about.
Day 5: Watch a classic summer movie
I always watch a lot of summer shows during the season, but not any movies. This year, I am changing that.
On day 5, we’re going to watch a classic summer movie, something that makes you feel all warm and nostalgic.
Some popular summer movie picks:
- The Parent Trap
- Mamma Mia
- 500 Days of Summer
- Call Me by Your Name
Feel free to drop some recs in the comment box.
Day 6: Make a fun summer drink
On a hot day, make a refreshing summer drink that you’ve never had before.
You can try masala lemonade, iced matcha, or a fun mocktail recipe with fresh mint and fruit slices.

Day 7: Go for a sunset walk
Morning sunrises are cool, but sunset walks? Absolutely dreamy.
Tie your shoelaces, grab a water bottle, and head outside for an evening walk.
It’s also the perfect time for a golden-hour selfie, so make sure you click one in a nice spot before heading back home.
Day 8: Have a tech-free evening
To fully enjoy the beauty of summer, it would be a good idea to unplug.
Ditch your phone, laptop, and TV for the evening.
Spend time reading a book, writing in a journal, or simply enjoying the quiet summer air.
Day 9: Make a summer vision board
Use Pinterest or go old-school with magazine cutouts to create a mood board filled with summer inspiration.
Fill your board with pictures of the places you want to go, outfits you wanna wear, and goals you need to accomplish this season.
P.S.: If you are not in the mood to play cut and paste, then just create a summer board on Pinterest and add some ideas to it.

Day 10: Try a new summer recipe
Even if you’re not into cooking, stepping into the kitchen once in a while is good for your soul.
On day 10 of the summer challenge, you’re going to make a new summer recipe.
Maybe it’s a fresh summer salad, a tropical smoothie bowl, or grilled peaches with honey.
The internet is full of such colorful ideas. You just need the ingredients!
Day 11: Make a summer memory jar
Decorate an empty jar from your kitchen or buy a new one from the stationary shop. Label it ‘my summer memory jar’.
Going forward, write down your cute summer memories on a chit and throw them in this jar to look back on.
Day 12: Spend a whole day outdoors
For the 11th day, you’re going to soak up the fresh air and bless your body with sunshine.
Take your meals outside, work outside if you can, read outside, and grab your lunch at the park.
If you have to be at the office, then feel free to swap this part of the challenge with some other day, and do this on the weekend instead.

Day 13: Go on a spontaneous adventure
Drive somewhere new, take a different walking route, or visit a nearby town just because.
It’s fun to be spontaneous, especially on a long summer day when possibilities are endless.
Day 14: Do a summer wardrobe refresh
Hit the mall and buy a few summery things for your wardrobe, like a cute sundress, a fun hat, or some comfy sandals.
Even if you’re buying a single item, or shopping for the season can make you feel surprisingly good about yourself.
Day 15: Make a summer-themed dessert
Think popsicles, key lime pie, or s’mores. Whatever you’re in the mood for!
Just be sure to share it with your friends and family. Sweets taste better when shared with loved ones.
Day 16: Do something that scares you
What’s the one summer activity you’ve always wanted to try but are too scared to?
Paddleboarding, paddleboarding, roller-skating, singing at karaoke, or even posting a bold summer picture on Instagram!
Tick it off your summer checklist today and feel like a winner!

Day 17: Start a summer journal
Your summer journal can be a plain notebook or a fancy leather journal. Keep it as simple or creative as you’d like.
Starting today, use this journal to write down your thoughts, favorite memories, and what’s making you happy or sad.
I swear it will help you a lot throughout the season, through all the highs and lows.
Day 18: Visit a farmer’s market
You are not leaving this challenge without visiting a farmer’s market first. It’s the ultimate summer thing to do.
Go to a Sunday farmer’s market and pick up fresh fruits, veggies, flowers, and some homemade treats to munch on.
It’s way better than the packed stuff they sell at the store.
Day 19: Follow a morning routine
I don’t know whether you’re a morning person or not, but it’s you’re going to follow a proper morning routine on day 18.
The night before, write down all the rituals you’d like to follow, and then whatever time you wake up the next day (try to make it early), tick off your morning routine before starting your day.
You can do an ice facial, have a matcha latte, do 10-minute yoga, and take a cold shower. Whatever habits soothe your mind and body on a hot summer morning.

Day 20: Host a BBQ or outdoor dinner
Invite a few friends over for an evening of BBQ or an outdoor dinner.
You can also do this just for yourself. Grill up something delicious and eat outside. Your summer spirit will love this quiet time.
Day 21: Go on a photo walk
Find a spare hour in your day to head out for a photo walk.
Take pictures of little summer details—the sky, flowers, shadows, the way sunlight hits your iced coffee.
Store these pics in a new folder in your gallery or post them on Instagram.
Day 22: Have a DIY spa night
Give yourself the gift of relaxation with a DIY spa night.
Go all in with a coconut oil hair mask, sugar scrub, and soothing face masks.
Just be careful to use ingredients that suit your skin type. And finish it all off with summery nail paint!

Day 23: Read a summer romance book
On day 22, you’re going to pick up a cozy summer romance book and start reading it.
If you can binge-read it, awesome! But it’s totally fine to savor every page and make it last till the end of this challenge.
You’ll have something fun to do in your free time.

Day 24: Stargazing
Head to your balcony or backyard and watch the stars at night.
You can listen to cozy songs as you do this. Makes the whole experience more romantic.

Day 25: Do a random act of kindness
This is not related to summer, but still, for day 25, I want you to take part in a random act of kindness.
You can leave a kind note for a stranger, buy someone coffee, or donate to a local charity.
Kindness stirs love, positivity, and softness inside us. We should indulge in it freely and as often as we can.
Day 26: Have a beach or pool day
If you don’t live near a beach, a kiddie pool or a sprinkler in your backyard totally counts.
You can also pour cold water into a tub and sit in your backyard with your feet dipped in.
Just have a day out in the water and make it as fun as you can!

Day 27: Indulge in a summer hobby
Find time out of your busy schedule to practice a summer hobby.
Here are some ideas you can pick from:
- Crochet a cute bikini top
- Learn to surf
- DIY tie-dyeing
- Fly a kite
- Water painting
- Play an instrument on your balcony
- Gardening
Day 28: Do an outdoor workout
Go for a hike, do yoga in the park, or roller-skate around your neighborhood.
You can also take a long walk outside with music plugged in.
As long as you move your body out in nature, we are going to count it as a win.

Day 30: Watch the sunset and reflect on your summer
Sit outside in the evening, take in the beautiful sunset, and think about all the amazing moments you had this month.
