Here’s the ultimate November challenge that will help you slow down, savor the season, and step into December feeling calm, grateful, and proud of yourself.

November is the quiet in-between month, and I think it deserves way more love than it gets.
The leaves are falling, the evenings are getting sweeter, and the holiday rush hasn’t quite begun.
It’s the perfect pause between the fun of October and the sparkle of December.
And yet, every year, November has a way of slipping by in a blur.
I tell myself I’ll start fresh in January, and two whole months quietly go to waste.
So this year, I’m creating a gentle November challenge made of tin and feel-good tasks to make my month intentional instead of rushed.
In this post, you’ll find a new task for every day of November.
Some will have you stepping outside, some will keep you tucked under a blanket, and a few will have you reaching out to the people you love.
No pressure, no perfection. Just small moments that make this month feel like yours.
So light a candle, grab your favorite warm drink, and let’s make this November one to remember!
30-Day November Challenge
Day 1: Write your November intentions
Jot down three small things you’d love to feel or do this month. Keep them tiny, kind, and doable.
Having them on paper will make you far more likely to follow through. You’ll be revisiting this list on the last day.
Day 2: Switch to your coziest bedding
Pull out the softest blanket you own, fluff up your pillows, and make your bed feel like a hug.
If you don’t have a super cozy set yet, just get one fuzzy throw blanket.
You will be using it a lot in the upcoming chilly days, and it will level up the mood of your whole room.
Day 3: Watch the golden hour
On day 3 of this challenge, you are going to witness the magic of the sunset or the sunrise (both are referred to as the golden hour).
Sit by a window or step outside for ten minutes while the morning/evening light turns everything gold.
Your phone needs to stay away for this one. Just sit, sip something warm, and watch the sky do its thing.

Day 4: Make something with warm spices
During the cold months, how can you not prepare something with warm spices?
It can be cinnamon cookies, cardamom tea, spiced milk, or anything that makes your kitchen smell like November.
Whatever you prepare, enjoy every bite or sip of it.
Because if there is one message that November has in store for us, it is that slow living is the only way of living.
Day 5: Create a reading corner
Set up a small nook with a chair, a lamp, a cushion, and a stack of books you’ve been meaning to get to.
Once it’s ready, spend at least twenty minutes in it.
This space is going to serve as your me-time spot for the cold season, so make it good!
Day 6: Write a handwritten letter
Pick a friend or relative who lives far away, and send them a real letter or postcard.
Receiving mail that isn’t a bill is such a rare joy these days, and I promise it will make their week (as well as yours).
Day 7: Take a leaf walk
For day 7 of this challenge, I welcome you to wander without a destination and let your eyes soak in the fall colors.
Bring home one perfect leaf and press it inside your journal as a November keepsake.

Day 8: Build a ‘November Evenings’ playlist
November evenings are pure magic.
I love taking a walk after dinner in this month with a sweater on, and a playlist that fits the vibes makes it even better.
So, for day 21, make a playlist titled ‘November evenings’. Fill it with songs that feel soft, slow, and nostalgic.
You can play it while you cook, read, journal, or walk home in the early dusk.
Listening to the playlist while completing your daily task of this challenge will also be fun!
Day 9: Unfollow ten accounts
Clear out the accounts that make you feel less than, whether it’s a perfect lifestyle page or an old acquaintance you never talk to.
Your online feed should feel like a friend, not a critic.
This task will remind you to make space for things that actually make you happy by ridding yourself of that which doesn’t bring you joy.
Day 10: Declutter one drawer
I am not asking you to declutter your whole house in one swoop.
Just clean one drawer. Toss the dried-up pens, tangled cables, and mystery keys.
It’s amazing how good a tiny tidy-up feels!
If you need some more ideas, here are 21 things to declutter when you’re feeling inspired to sort through the mess around you.
Day 11: Have a phone-free evening
Switch off at sunset and fill the time with something offline, like painting, puzzles, journaling, or simply staring at the ceiling dreamily.
Let the world wait for just this evening.
It will still be there in the morning, and you might find it more welcoming when you wake up without the noise of the digital world in your head.

Day 12: Try a new tea blend
If you read my blogs regularly, you’d know I’m big on tea. I own it in every flavour, I am sure.
Even if you’re not a tea person, autumn is a great season to try changing your taste palette a bit.
It’s good for your health, but it also helps you relax without giving you an intense caffeine boost like coffee.
So, on day 12, pick up a flavor you’ve never tried, like cinnamon chai, rose tea, or a spiced herbal blend.
Make it slowly, sip it slowly, and notice the flavors. This is a great me-time habit to carry through the colder months!
Day 13: Rewatch a childhood favorite
Choose the cartoon, movie, or show that made you feel safe and happy when you were little.
Wrap yourself in a blanket and let nostalgia do the rest. Comfort rewatches totally count as self-care.
Day 14: Sleep half an hour earlier
Tonight, let the early dark be your excuse to go to bed.
Dim the lights, put your phone away, and enjoy a calm wind-down.
If you want to make it extra dreamy, I invite you to try this fall night routine. A lot of my readers love the ideas in there!

Day 15: Write a thank-you note
Thanksgiving may be a few days away, but channel that energy today.
Think of someone who helped you this year and tell them exactly how with a thank-you note.
Make it as specific as you can, because those notes can be more meaningful.
Instead of “thanks for everything,” tell them the exact moment that stayed with you. It’ll feel good!
Day 16: Call an elder
Our elders have wisdom and lessons that we don’t have yet.
Whenever I listen to the song ‘Marjorie’ by Taylor Swift, it reminds me to seek that wisdom and cherish their presence more.
So, ask a grandparent or an older relative for a story from their youth or a family recipe.
You’ll end up with a treasure, and they’ll love being asked. Conversations like these are what November is all about.
Day 17: Share a meal
Since this is the Thanksgiving month, I am sprinkling cozy moments with people throughout this month.
Today, you are going to cook for someone or invite a friend over for coffee and snacks.
Food just tastes better in company. If you can’t meet in person, schedule a video call and eat together (bless you, technology).

Day 18: Start a good-things jar
Grab a jar and drop in a note about something lovely that happened today. It can be as small as a good cup of tea (that’s my favorite moment most days).
Keep adding to it every day until the end of the year, and open it on New Year’s Eve.
Trust me, it’s a wonderful way to end the year.
Day 19: Give three genuine compliments
Don’t do this just for the sake of being polite. Give heartfelt compliments that will make the receiver’s day.
Praise a coworker’s idea, a friend’s style, or a stranger’s smile. And feel the joy of appreciating those things about others.
Kindness levels up the more you share it.
Day 20: Take yourself on a solo date
There is no way I am making a monthly challenge without adding a solo date.
If you read my blogs regularly, you know I stand by the idea of going on solo dates the most.
Head to a cafe or a bookstore, order something warm, and enjoy your own company. You can bring a book or a journal, or just people-watch.
And if you need some ideas on what to do, check out these 51 solo date ideas. This list never disappoints.

Day 21: Cook a big pot of comfort
We all have different comfort foods. So, cook a big pot of the dish that is comforting to you.
It might be soupy noodles, pasta, or stew.
Make extra so you have a cozy meal waiting for you tomorrow. Future you will love you for this.
Day 22: Reread your journal entries
I keep journals, but rarely ever read them back. But I’ve recently realized that’s a missed opportunity for reflection and seeing how far you’ve come.
So, if you journal, then flip through the pages and read what you wrote this year.
If you don’t journal, scroll through your old notes, photos, or messages since the beginning of the year.
See how far you’ve come, what you’ve survived, and what made you smile. You might be surprised by how much has changed.
Day 23: List five wins from this year
Big or small, write down the wins that you forgot to celebrate.
Maybe you finished a book, learned a new skill, or got through a hard time.
They all count, and today is your day to remind yourself of them and feel proud.
Feel free to celebrate them with a nice cup of coffee.

Day 24: Clean up your phone gallery
Like it or not, your phone is a big part of your life. So, it should be cleaned up every month so that when you spend time on it, you feel good.
Delete the blurry screenshots and duplicate photos, and save the memories that matter.
You can also print a few favorites or send them to the people in them.
Day 25: Write a letter to your future self
If it’s been a while since you wrote a letter to yourself, then you need this, trust me.
Sit down at a quiet time and space to pen down a letter to your future self.
Tell yourself how this November feels, what you’re hoping for, and what you want to remember.
Seal it and tuck it away to open next November. It’ll be the sweetest time capsule for the future you.
Day 26: Plan three cozy things for December
With the month coming to an end, it’s a good idea to schedule in some fun and cozy plans for December.
You can plan a movie night, a baking day, and a long walk with a friend (those are my three plans for this December, but you do you).
If you need some inspiration, take a look at this December bucket list and pick your three favorites.

Day 27: Tidy your workspace
Your task for the day is to clean up your workspace and make it as aesthetic as you can.
Clear the desk, wipe the screen, put away the clutter, and light a candle.
Walk into the final stretch of the year with a fresh head and a space that makes you want to sit down and get things done.
Day 28: Note down three lessons from this year
Don’t rush through this one. Sit down and think deeply about the lessons that this year has taught you.
It may be lessons like setting boundaries, resting more, or trusting yourself.
Be proud of them, because they’re the quiet proof that you’ve grown.
Day 29: Treat yourself to something small
You’ve shown up for yourself all month, so you’ve earned a treat (even though you should always treat yourself to good things regardless of your accomplishments).
You can get yourself a book, a candle, or a dessert you’ve been postponing.
Savor your treat and head into the last day of the month feeling pampered.

Day 30: Look back at your intentions
This is where we come full circle.
You are going to revisit the list you made on day 1 and tick off everything you did.
Once you’re done, take a moment to thank yourself for showing up. You did great!
Let’s Create a Cozy and Wholesome November
Alright, so that was all for the November challenge.
Feel free to customize it or skip a day when you’re too busy or want to do something else.
The point of this is to make November feel slower, warmer, and a little more special for you.
Wishing you a cozy, grateful, and happy month ahead!
Tell me in the comments which day you’re most excited to try first, or share one of your own to add to my list. Happy November!
