These are the 10 simple daily goals that every person can easily tick off their checklist to level up their sense of accomplishment.
I’ve always had a love-hate relationship with goals, and I think that’s true for everyone.
Accomplish a goal, and you feel at the top of the world, but fail at it, and you end up feeling like a soggy French fry at the bottom of the bag.
Goals are good as long as they are right and realistic.
But you might also find yourself not being able to check off even goals that you most desperately need to check off.
This could be anything from studying four hours a day to dropping a few pounds.
Why does this happen?
From my understanding (and personal experience), this is because you are not used to tackling goals at all.
Goals are like habits. The more you do them, the better you get at them.
People who have consistent daily goals are often the ones who manage to succeed with their big goals.
They know how to channel their energy into goal-setting and habit-building on a small level, so they are able to apply the same process to more intimidating goals.
This is why it is so so important to have some everyday goals in your life that you see to no matter what.
In this post, I’m going to share 8 of my tried-and-tested daily goals with you.
These goals will help you pour into your wellness cup every day, but most importantly, they’ll keep your momentum going for any big goals you decide to take on.
If you want to wrap up all your days feeling healthy and with a sense of accomplishment, then please, read on.
8 Daily Goals You Can Easily Tick Off
1. Move Your Body
Look, I’m not saying you have to run a marathon every day (unless you’re into that, then by all means, go for it!).
But moving your body, even if it’s a 10-minute stretch or a walk around the block, is a game-changer.
It boosts your mood, keeps your body happy, and clears your mind off all the negative thoughts that do not belong there.
It might seem hard initially, but once you become accustomed to adding ‘quick workout’ to your list and ticking it off, you’ll find it is actually an easy win for the day.
And when moving your body becomes a daily goal, you’ll find yourself wanting to stick to the mat for longer durations.
But again, don’t forget that the goal here is to get moving and do it for however long as needed for the day.
2. Drink Enough Water
How many times have you gone through half the day and realized you’ve only had coffee?
Yeah, I’ve been there, and not been pleased with the drop in my skin health, gut health, and mental health (so basically all aspects of health).
If you’ve been neglecting water, it’s time to give your body some hydration love.
Keep a water bottle nearby and sip from it throughout the day. 8 glasses of water is considered ideal, but I have stopped keeping tabs now and instead focus on reaching for my bottle every hour of the day.
It makes you feel refreshed, energized, and less prone to that late-afternoon crash.
Your skin will totally thank you for this. Bonus points if you make it fancy with some lemon or cucumber slices!
3. Do One Thing For Your Mental Health
Just like your body, your brain needs a breather too.
Instead of waiting for some external factor to boost your mood, do something about it yourself.
Do at least one thing for your mental health.
It doesn’t have to be deep, but doing something that clears your mind and helps you feel centered can totally shift your mindset for the day.
Whether it’s journaling for five minutes, meditating, or just sitting quietly with your thoughts, take time to check in with yourself every single day.
Feel like doing a quick rant in your journal? Do it. The paper can handle it.

4. Spend 15 Minutes Something New
You don’t need to enroll in a new course every day, but spending a little time learning something helps keep your mind sharp and curious.
Example — Reading a few pages of a book, watching a tutorial, or listening to a podcast.
You can also teach yourself an interesting language (Duolingo is the best app for this), practice your musical instrument, or learn a new style of journaling (like bullet journaling).
The key here is to keep it short and sweet.
15 minutes of learning something that genuinely intrigues you, so that you feel good and productive regardless of what kind of day you’ve been having.
5. Practice Gratitude
Gratitude sounds like one of those things you should probably be doing, but seriously, it’s a game-changer.
Taking a moment to appreciate what you have can shift your whole mood.
Whether it’s mentally listing three things you’re grateful for or writing them down, this small act will leave you feeling lighter and happier.
Bonus: it’s free, easy, and doesn’t require a ton of effort.

6. Eat One Nutritious Meal
Let’s be real—pizza, cakes, and soda make life fun and yummy.
I would never want to go my whole life without eating any of this ‘junk’ food, despite being a wellness enthusiast.
I know I can be my ‘healthiest’ self quitting all of that, but I am fine being my healthier self, and I do that by keeping a balance between healthy and not-so-healthy food.
My daily goal to feed myself at least one nutritious meal helps with this.
I think regardless of the kind of lifestyle you have, this is easy to tick off if you put your mind to it.
Make sure you eat at least one meal packed with good-for-you stuff, like veggies, lean proteins, or whole grains.
And hey, if that meal is followed by dessert, no judgment. Balancing things out, right?
P.S.: When I put healthy efforts into one of my meals (which is usually the breakfast), I find myself naturally making healthier choices throughout the day.
So, this goal helps you build a healthy living mindset too, which is such a win-win. Alright, moving on to the next one.
7. Unplug For A Little While
This one might be the hardest but also the most rewarding.
We’re glued to our screens all day (guilty), but stepping away, even for a few minutes, can make a huge difference to the quality of your life.
Give yourself a break from your phone by doing a screen-free activity.
Walk your dog, cook while humming to yourself, or make a drawing in your journal.
The intention behind your activity should be clear — Unplugging so that you can reconnect to yourself and the world around you.
Consider it a mini reset for your brain, if you will.

8. End Your Day With Mindfulness
You know how people make it a goal to sleep on time and wake up early, but don’t really succeed?
I feel like they’d find success with those goals much quicker if they focused on nurturing a good night routine first.
No phone screens, no fretting about tomorrow, and no lingering on what could’ve been. Just pure calmness and mindfulness.
Whether you’re in your sassy girl boss mode all day long or a doting mother to your lovely kids, you deserve to end your day with peace.
It should be a goal to go to bed without any stress, and you know what, it’s going to be from today onward for you.
Tonight, I want you to end your day with a calming ritual.
Here are some ideas you can steal:
- Sip a calming herbal tea without distractions
- Read a thoughtful book (not on your e-reader, please)
- Tune into guided meditation
- Focus on your breaths for 2 minutes
- Do some bedtime journaling
- Shuffle some affirmation cards (or write down some yourself)
- Reflect on your day by creating a list of small wins
All of these are ideas that I personally use to center myself before bed.
Relaxation is the last thing on my to-do list, and it might just be the favorite part of my day.
I call it my Downtime, and that’s exactly what you’d find written on the 10 PM slot in the schedule of my planner.

Wrapping It Up…
Unless you love taking on a couple of new challenges at once, I won’t recommend setting these daily goals all at once.
Start with just two of these goals. Any two that you like the best. Then, spend a week adding them to your routine.
Once you’re used to them, add two more the following week, and keep going till you have enough goals to keep your confidence, health, and motivation up.
Even if you don’t tick off every goal every day, as long as you’re doing something, you’ll still be moving in the right direction.
And that’s something worth celebrating, don’t you agree?
